Information is the Key to Intercession
One of the Lessons from the Movie – Gbemi Part 1&2
If you are looking for a movie that will fire you up to pray as a woman, if you want something that will make you laugh, think, reflect with a bit of Nigerian flavour in the mix,then I highly recommend Gbemi Part 1 & 2 (Particularly part 2)! by Mount Zion. Whilst looking for a movie to watch recently, I got wind of the fact that part 2 of the movie is out! It was the highlight of my my weekend!
I got so fired up to pray after watching it. If you have been following me here, one of the things I am determined to do this year by God’s grace is pray God’s word back to him. Pray scriptures. This movie has added to my resolve to do this. You need to watch the movie to understand better what I mean. Oh
One of my personal conclusions from the movie Is – The key to intercession is information. At every point, the main character got information either through a dream, God ordering her footsteps, instruction etc. This helped her to man the gate of her home with great wisdom!
As mothers or even parents, we need information per time and if you are a child of God, you have access to the all knowing God! We have access to as much information as we want! We simply need to tarry in prayers, ask & listen.
My new prayer point is – Lord give me information about my family, my husband, my children so I can pray the right prayers. If you are also in God’s waiting room for anything, this movie will encourage you to wait with God, wait the right way so you don’t go on any Isrealite journey. Waiting for anything is tough but as Children of the kingdom, we know that God causes all things to work together for our good. This movie will remind you to way the God way. The Jesus way.
It also has clean content (you don’t have to worry about gender upside down issues of regular Hollywood or even Nollywood movies). It is funny and spirit filled.
This is my own personal experience with this movie. You can check it out and make sure to watch with an open mind. I believe it will help you as a woman and mom to man the gate of your home with prayers, insight and wisdom.
