Hi Mama – The way you see things will determine how far you go in Q2 and beyond

The Glass is either half full or half empty. It boils down to perspective

The Long Easter Break was the break I didn’t know I needed! Whoosh! I ate, slept and ate again and slept! I pushed myself alot in Q1 and I started running out of strength at some point but I feel so energised and ready to go now.

One Major Lesson I’m learning in this season is about this thing called “Perspective!”

There is either a Mountain or an opportunity to scale and advance before you. Perspective! What do you see?

There is either a Giant or an uncircumcised Philistine before you – The Choice is yours! What do you see?

There is either a child stopping you from achieving your goals or a child you have the opportunity to build beautiful memories with that will stay long after you’re gone – What do you see?

The glass is half empty or full. What do you see?

One of my Big Mummies ( I call her Big Mummy T) reached out to check on me and our Homeschooling Journey. I was quick to let her know all the challenges and issues at hand. She acknowledged them with me and encouraged me to get support where necessary.

But one thing she said after a long list of issues raised has changed my perspective – She said “I’m Happy for you. You get to experience this Child fully!”

Perspective!

That statement changed everything for me. It was just what I needed to hear to see things better.

As I step into Q2, I am stepping in with a new sense of purpose. I’m wearing a new lense and I’m seeing things differently!

This is beyond Homeschooling. This is an opportunity for me to make impact! The impact I so desire to make in the lives of others through my many ideas! I have access and the opportunity to groom this child I have been given. I have the opportunity to fill his love tank, create memories and do loads of funnnnnnnn together, pray him into encounters that will sustain him for the rest of his life, build his confidence such that when he returns to school he is confident in his capacity and abilities. I have access! This access is POWERFUL! If I use it the right way!

As you can see, I have my glasses on, I’m choosing to see correctly & differently too …

Hannah had a very short time with her child yet, she was able to make impact that all of Israel felt so intensely. The Bible records that none of the words of Prophet Samuel fell to the ground! Wow! Just because one woman used her access well!

You may not be Homeschooling like me but you can make the access you have to your child’s life count. You can make the most of the time you have and become intentional about how you’re raising the ones God has given you! You can choose to see things from a completely different angle such that you have springs in your steps.

For a time cometh when that access may not be as much anymore… Age 18 is around the corner….

Welcome to Q2.

With Love,

Morolake
