I asked a Young Adult to Read the Book – Anxious for Nothing – By Max Lucado and send me his thoughts. Here’s what he had to say!

This Book is a Must – Read if you have a Young Adult around you.

Sometimes you wonder what young people are actually anxious about? Why worry when they have no responsibilities… Well, I wish they really had no worries but they actually do!

Young adults are trying to find a sense of self while juggling big responsibilities like school, careers, and relationships. The brain in the 20s is still going through major development. They get anxious about their future, Self Esteem, Friends, Education, Which path to take and so much more.

If you have a Teen or Young Adult around you, the Holiday might just be a good time to help them manage their anxiety. You can get them to :

1. Read 1 Chapter Every week and you Hangout to discuss the key points. Or

2. Read the entire Book and share their thoughts,

3. Do a Tiktok Video about their learnings ( if Tiktok is their Vibe) or

4. Do a YouTube Presentation in a way that other young people can learn, or

5. Do a Thread Post, or

6. Type it and send Via Email to you. Or

7. If Graphics is their thing, they can do designs with the Key Message.

My point, every way and anyway to help them move from being anxious to being Calm.

I asked my young chap to read this Book and send me his thoughts. Here’s what he had to say about the Book :

Anxious for Nothing, The Young Reader Edition was a really good read. The book helps us understand why we get anxious and how  individuals can find calm, peace, and direction in the world which is going out of hand. It points out how as young adults and teens we can submit our will to God to take control as we put in the work. It is also Bible Based and takes its anchor text from Philippians 4: 4-9. It equally has lots of relatable stories, real-life scenarios, practical questions, and activities to check our thoughts and emotions.

The book is split into 4 sections which are:

 ✅Celebrate God’s Goodness.

 ✅Ask God For Help.

 ✅Look At The Bright Side.

 ✅Meditate On Good Things.
