October is a special month for me because it’s my birth month! God has been faithful to me and I’m grateful for the journey so far. To celebrate, I’m sharing some of the Books I love so much! Some of them I have read, others are on my To-Read List. I’m sharing these books in the hope that a woman, mom or parent struggling in one area or the other will find wisdom needed to thrive and you’ll become armed with knowledge and information to parent with ease.

This Book – Lionness Arising by Lisa Bevere is a follow up to continue to help you stay awake. It will certainly open your eyes to the Unique power you have as a woman. It will awaken something in you that will push you to become all that God has called you to be. The author uses the Queen of the Jungle – The lionness as a reference. Every child is Unique. I am the first of 4 and it’s interesting that we are all different individuals with distinct personalities even though we are from the same parents. Not a single one of us are the same. I wonder how our parents managed to raise us with our very different peculiarities. It’s important to understand each child and use the Love language they understand best. This book will help you understand the different love languages and how we can apply it to our children so we can meet them at their level.
Sis, the truth is Motherhood is a Ministry that requires a lot of training. We need to constantly update our skills to catch up with the fast paced environment. This book delves into this unique and deep Ministry of Motherhood. I’m in love with Sally Clarkson and how she writes. I have read a number of her books and I honestly can’t wait to Dig into this one.
Kingdom Parenting is a really powerful book. I read it along with some amazing women in a Praying Community I belong to – Proactive Praying Mom’s. Powerful and really impactful tips. We prayed over the key points every week and it’s been a blessing to us + anything from Myles Munroe, I will recommend over and over. Offcourse it’s available here @inlushmeadowkids
Boys are a very unique, different species and they are a critical part of God’s agenda. I always wanted a girl but my husband “blocked” me lol and we have a dotting handsome Boy I love so much. This book is a Must read for Boy Moms.
