As we approach the Valentine season fully, it is important for us to help our kids understand what Love truly means.
Love can be expressed through our words and actions. Love is sacrificial and it means putting others first. Getting this message across to children in a fun, colourful & exciting way is something dear to our hearts @inlushmeadowkids. Asides creating our colourful Christ-Centered Valentine worksheet for kids, i went in search of a thoughtful heart felt book on Love to celebrate Valentine’s Day. I specifically wanted a book that can teach kids deep lessons on Love beyond the surface and this book by Rick Warren – Words to Love By is truly good book and our new favourite @inlushmeadowkids. It’s such a well thought out colourful and deep book that teaches kids how to express Love with their words! Isn’t that such a powerful lesson in a world where people speak recklessly? This book is for keeps and it can be used across all ages!
From the first page of the book, I was glued! Words to Love By teaches kids how to use their words the right way – encourage, uplift, build up! Our words are powerful and our kids need to know that their words are powerful too and it can tear down or build up!
I’m going to be using it for a long long time to come! I really don’t know who is excited me or the child 🤣🤣🤣But seeing new books these days gets me really excited.
